Who we are
Hi, I’m Kaitlin, the creator of Whole Reconnection. I’m currently pursuing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, with the goal of becoming a licensed therapist and eventually opening my own private practice. Although I am not a licensed therapist yet, I ensure that every tool is thoroughly researched and grounded in evidence-based practices. Many of the resources draw inspiration from therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and family systems work. My academic training, paired with lived experience, has shaped these tools to be both practical and supportive in everyday life.
Whole Reconnection started with my own search for resources that could help me manage stress, rebuild habits, and navigate challenges like body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs). Along the way, I realized there weren’t enough options that spoke to recovery in a way that felt doable, shame-free, and encouraging. So, I began creating the kind of tools I wished I had, ones that combine reflection, structure, and well-researched methods.
Now, Whole Reconnection has grown into a space that provides supportive, practical tools for people navigating habits, emotions, and everyday stress. We believe that mental wellness resources should be realistic, accessible, and free of shame, something you can actually use in daily life.
Our first products were designed for BFRB recovery, skin picking, hair pulling, nail biting, but Whole Reconnection has expanded into much more. Today, our collections include tools for emotional awareness, coping skills, burnout, boundaries, and self-regulation. Each product is built to help you pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself in ways that fit into real life.
At Whole Reconnection, we believe progress matters more than perfection. Our goal is simple: to create resources that make life feel a little clearer, a little more balanced, and a lot more doable.
Our tools are designed to be supportive on their own, but they can be even more impactful when used alongside the guidance of a mental health professional. If you’re interested in finding a therapist in your area, visit Psychology Today’s Therapist Directory to connect with licensed professionals near you.
Thank you so much for being here and choosing us to accompany you on your healing journey.
All my love,
Kaitlin and the Whole Reconnection Team
